Shopping
In Porvoo, one can shop in all kinds of places
Old Porvoo
The old part of Porvoo is a charming area dominated by shops and boutiques, most of them small and personal. The buildings alone are often attractions, and many of them reflect the personalities of their owners. The most popular shopping streets are Välikatu and Jokikatu, but shops can be found on other streets nearby, as well, all the way to the southern side of the Mannerheiminkatu bridge.
Most of the boutiques are open year-round on weekdays from about 10 am to 5 pm and Saturdays from about 10am to 2pm, as well as noon to 3 pm on Sundays in summer and before Christmas.
Note: The hours of business may vary!
Summer market every day at Old Town Square at 9 am to 4 pm if the weather allows.

Lundi Shopping Centre
On Mannerheiminkatu Street, next to the square, is the Lundi shopping centre. Some of the shops can be entered from the shared indoor gallery, but it’s worth while to go around the whole block and visit other shops nearby, as well. www.lundi.fi
Kuninkaanportti
A new shopping centre has been built at Kuninkaanportti (King’s Gate), about 3 km from the town centre in the direction of Helsinki. It already houses furniture stores, car dealers and hardware stores, but the selection is growing all the time.
Other
There are other interesting places to shop elsewhere in the centre of Porvoo and its environs. For example, the Tarmola industrial estate has several large specialty stores.
